  • Broadband Metallic Mirrors


    OptoSigma manufactures a wide variety of high performance mirrors with metalized coatings. These are Aluminum Mirrors, Silver Mirrors and Gold Mirrors. Metalized mirrors are ideal for broadband applications like Spectroscopy and are useful in the UV, Visible and NIR ranges in a variety of industries. Dielectric coating layers are incorporated on top of the metalics to protect the surfaces and enhance the reflectivities. Metalic mirrors are generally lower in price compared to their dielectric counterparts and they are also polarization incensitive.     Dielectric Mirrors, also known as Bragg Mirrors consist of multiple layers of dielectric coating materials deposited onto glass surfaces typically. OptoSigma offers a wide variety of dielectric mirrors that are appropriate for high power lasers, broadband light sources in a varity of applictions. Whether you need a laser line solution, or, an ultra-broadband solution, we have a great selection.   • Femtosecond Laser Mirrors


    OptoSigma Femtosecond Laser Mirrors, also known as Chirp Mirrors, or Dispersion Mirrors, have either low or negative Group Delay Dispersion (GDD) characteristics for use in chirp pulsed amplications systems (CPA), or a variety of applications for ultra short pulses of primarily Ti-Sapphire lasers. OptoSigma has three types, standard, wide band, and high power, in a varity of sizes. All utilize dielectric coatings on high precision glass substrates. Our Femtosecond mirrors are verified using a metrology device named, "Chromatis", manufactured by KM Labs in Boulder, CO. Custom sizes, wavelengths and pulse profiles available upon request.

  • High Surface Flatness Mirrors


    OptoSigma's family of High Surface Flatness Mirrors are guaranteed to be Lambda/10 P-V after coating. This group of mirrors are designed specifically for ND Yag lasers from primary 1064nm, and higher frequencies down to 248nm. The optical coatings are all dielectric with reflectivieis up to R>99.5%. OptoSigma manufactures a significant mix of custom mirrors upon request.

  • Super Mirrors


    OptoSigma's Super Mirror family are a group of mirrors with extremely high reflectivities. These mirrors are ideal for Fabry-Perot resonator cavities where high finnesse and narrow spectral bandwiths are required. We employ highly specialized polishing techniques that enable low scatter based upon surface roughness of Ra<0.1nm and we also utilize Ion-Beam Sputtering (IBS) optical coating processes. Our standard products are for 1064nm (R>99.999%) and 532nm (R>99.9995%). Custom wavelengths and or sizes available upon request.

  • Curved Focusing Mirrors


    OptoSigma manufactures a variety of spherical concave mirrors. These type of Mirrors reflect rays of light inward to a focal point. Objects beyond the center of curvature will form a real inverted image that is between the focal point and the center of curvature. Elipsoidal Mirrors provide two focal points and are ideal for illumination for steppers in PCB and LCD applications. Paraboliod Mirrors convert diverging light from a point source into parallel rays. These mirrors are affordable with good reflectance in a wide range of wavelength. Mirrors are available in aluminum, silver and gold coating and at any angle of incidence. Light absorption coating, reflection is slightly reduced.
