Beam collimation checkers (SPV-25/SPUV-25) are shear interferometers of the simplest design, used to examine the parallelism of laser beam expanders (collimators).

◦Evaluation of the beam status on the μrad order is made possible by inserting a collimation checker in the optical axis, eliminating much of the time and labor required to adjust the optical axis and providing a superior quality beam.
◦Beam collimation checkers are also compatible with beams of ultraviolet wavelengths. Contact our Sales Engineer for more information.
