VMHX-series mounts are all-stainless steel, vacuum compatible mounts. To minimize the outgassing, special cleaning, along with vacuum grease and vented holes are provided. BARRIERTA SUPER IS/V vacuum grease is used. The MHX mounts feature a hollow-frame design that not only provides a higher moment of inertia to maximize stiffness but also thinner, reduced-mass sections allowing it to reach thermal equilibrium faster than traditionally designed mounts. Thermal repeatability tests validate the effectiveness of the new frame design, showing lower deflection and equivalent repeatability against rival mounts. The MHX mount is loaded with additional features like center-post mounting, adhesive wells, and keying pin slots, all in the industrys most compact and affordable stainless steel mount. Ideal for interference measurement or precision measurement.
◦ To minimize the outgassing, venting hole and grooving are provided onto screw holes and inset sections.
◦ BARRIERTA SUPER IS/V grease is used for sliding part. ◦In the case of MHX-25.4F-R, Insert the mirror from the back and fix it when the mirror's reflective surface hits the mirror frame . As a result, the mounting center of the rod and the reflecting surface of the mirror can always be matched even if the thickness of the mirror changes.
◦MHX-25.4F/F-R has three adjustment screws to adjust not only tilt and rotation but also reflective surface the back and forth. The MHX-25.4A has only two adjustment screws to adjust only tilt and rotation.
◦Equipped with bonding holes for mirror bonding and pin holes for rotation prevention and positioning.
◦High-density stainless steel is used for the material, but the weight has been reduced by reducing the thickness.
◦The thickness of the frame is made thinner and follows immediately even if the temperature changes, and the distortion of the frame due to the temperature distribution is kept low.

  • To maintain its high cleanness, special vacuum packing for delivery is provided for each component.
  • Please use vacuum screws VPCB/VAGB when you mount this holder onto a base plate.
  • We also provide vacuum pedestal bases VPST and posts (VRO).
  • We will offer custom products based on your requested specifications.
  • In addition, a special screwed knob (MHX-K-M6) is also available instead of the hexagon wrench.
  • A special lock (MHK-L-M6) for holding the adjusted angle is also available.
  • Attention
    • Please make sure that open the package in a clean environment and do not touch it with your bare hands.
    • Cannot be mounted on M6 rod (RO). Use M4 or 8-32 UNC rods (ROC, RO-UU) when mounting a rod. It can be fixed to the post stand (PST) or the spacer with M4 tapped holes with M4 screws.
    • The reflecting surface of the mirror is located 4 mm deep from the front of the holder. There are 11mm offsets from the M4 screw fixing position.
    • When using a rod, it is not possible to change the beam transmission direction of the mirror holder. Use a post stand (PST) to change the direction.
    • When used with a cross beam (optical system such as a Michelson interferometer), the effective diameter of the beam becomes smaller.
