The SGCD low-cost DC motor actuators are open-loop and intended for simple automated or remote movement of linear stages or other precision positioners. SGDC Actuators are equipped with a thin-diameter 6V DC motor which provides exceptionally high-thrust loads. The actual diameter is only 10mm. All SGDC actuators have a non-rotating spindle which reduces contact-point friction and improves repeatability and durability. Using an SRC-series controller, incremental resolutions under 100nm are achievable. Also, at the slowest speeds, this actuator is capable moving loads exceeding 20 kgf. The standard 9.5mm threaded mounting shank allows these actuators to be mounted on most OptoSigma translation stages.

| Attention | When replacing the micrometer head on a manual translation stage with the SGDC actuator, please refer the technical guide. To remove or install the lock nut, use the MNS-12.5-14.5 nut driver. Please take care when handling cable. Shock, compression, bending, twisting, can damage or cause disconnection of the cable. |
