Top-Adjust, Stainless Steel Mirror Mounts

Top-Adjust MHX-T series mirror mounts are all-stainless steel and feature adjustments that are conveniently accessible from the top of the mount. They are made for standard 12.7-mm (0.5-in.), 25.4-mm (1-in.), and 50.8-mm (2-in.) mirrors and in both right- and left-handed configurations. They are designed with a hollow frame that not only provides a higher moment of inertia to maximize stiffness but also thinner, reduced-mass sections, allowing it to reach thermal equilibrium faster than traditionally designed mounts. The hollow frame also serves to protect the front plate from being knocked from its kinematic points. Thermal repeatability tests validate the effectiveness of the new frame design, showing lower deflection and equivalent repeatability against rival mounts. The MHX-T mount is loaded with additional features like center-post mounting, adhesive wells, and vented keying pin slots, all in the most compact and affordable stainless steel mount.
