Optical Tables

Optical Tables
  • OptoSigma offers a full range of optical tables, including rigid and vibration-isolated platforms with steel honeycomb tops and 1/4-20 or M6 threaded hole grids.
  • Each table is supported by either cylindrical legs or caster-equipped frames and uses elastomer (rigid) or pneumatic isolation for superior damping of floor vibrations.
  • These tables provide high stiffness with minimal deflection, ideal for microscopy, interferometry, fiber alignment, metrology, and other precision optical experiments.
  • Stock in Europe - Custom tables are available upon request.

Do you know all the sources of vibration in a laboratory?

    vibration
    • Ground Vibrations: Caused by foot traffic, vehicles, HVAC systems, building movement, and even distant construction.
    • Acoustic Noise: Includes sounds that exert force on equipment, such as airflow from fans or HVAC ducts.
    • Ground Vibrations: Refers to vibrations applied directly to the table or equipment from cables, motors, or moving components (e.g., linear stages).
