The MHX-A-PDM series mounts are stainless steel holders designed for standard mirror sizes of 12.7-mm (0.5-in.), 25.4-mm (1-in.), 50.8-mm (2-in.), and 101.6-mm (4-in.). These mounts are equipped with high-resolution piezomotor actuators for precise positioning. The hollow-frame design enhances stiffness by providing a higher moment of inertia, while the reduced-mass sections enable faster thermal equilibrium compared to traditional mounts. Thermal repeatability tests have confirmed the effectiveness of the new frame design, demonstrating lower deflection and equivalent repeatability compared to competitor mounts. The MHX mount also includes features such as center-post mounting, adhesive wells, and keying pin slots. It offers a compact and cost-effective solution in the stainless steel mount category.
