MHX-series large diameter mounts are all-stainless steel holders made for standard 101.6mm (4 in.) mirrors. They feature a hollow-frame design that not only provides a higher moment of inertia to maximize stiffness but also thinner, reduced-mass sections allowing it to reach thermal equilibrium faster than traditionally designed mounts. The MHX mount is loaded with additional features like center-post mounting, adhesive wells, and keying pin slots, all in the industry’s most innovative stainless steel mount.
